Fun Kid's Picture Valentine

Photobucket
Photobucket

As a high functioning over crafter I could never send my kids to school with store bought valentines.
I just can't.

Last year we made THESE.

And this year we decided to put Mom's big camera to use.

I found a similar idea online somewhere that I tweaked a bit.
Unfortunately I can not for the life of me find it, but as soon as I do I will add the link because she had a TON of cute V-day ideas!

So easy to make.

50 100th Day Of School Project Ideas

Photobucket

My Kindergardener recently had her 100th day of school.
To celebrate being 100 days smarter her teacher asked that they create, on poster board, a picture using 100 items and to be creative.
Well, I was kinda tired that day so I decided to just ask my friend the Google.

Sadly didn't find much.

*shake of head*

That won't do.

How To Make A Boat Out Of A Milk Carton

Photobucket

For Columbus Day E's Kindergarten teacher had her make a boat out of stuff we had around the house, then at school they would test the boats to see if they float.
This craft was done by my 5 year old.

Seriously.
She chose the design and I helped her figure out how to put it together, but she did the work.

This is a craft you can do with any age child!

Teacher Gift Idea: "Grow" Plant

Simple end of year Teacher Gift Idea
Photobucket

Eden's last day of Preschool is upon us for the year.
So to say "Thank You" to her amazing teachers, we put together these cute flower pots.

E picked out the flowers, this fun fabric and insisted on these pink sparkle flowers for the tags.
The rest I put together to make it look, well... put together.
Photobucket

I cut the fabric into big squares and wrapped it around the pot, then tied it with a coordinating ribbon to keep it in place.

Used coordinating scrapbook papers to create the tag.
Added a cute picture of my E, then punched a hole in both, then tied them to the pot's ribbon with a smaller coordinating ribbon.

The teachers LOVED them!

Happy Creating!!
